Cage Warriors 137: Fighters make weight ahead of Colchester fight night
The fighters set for action on the first night of Cage Warriors' double-header have hit the scales and weighed in ahead of the event in Colchester.
The Charter Hall in Colchester will play host to Cage Warriors 137 and 138 on Friday and Saturday night, respectively, and the 12 fighters set for action on the first night of the double-header all successfully weighed ahead of their bouts.
Topping the bill is a 177-pound catchweight bout between former Cage Warriors middleweight champion Matthew Bonner, who faces off against Joel Kouadja in the main event.
Bonner has his sights set on championship glory in a new weight class as he bids to force his way into the title picture at welterweight, while France's Kouadja is looking to continue a remarkable career turnaround that has seen him win six fights in a row after an initial run of seven defeats from his first eight career bouts as a pro.
Also set for action on the card is undefeated English lightweight Adam Cullen, who will look to continue his impressive form under the Cage Warriors banner with victory over France's Arnaud Kherfallah.
Also on the card, Shoaib Yousaf will make his Cage Warriors debut, with the former IMMAF amateur world champion looking to make a big impression on UFC Fight Pass with an eye-catching display against Poland's Michal Folc in a 150-pound catchweight contest.
The fighters set for Cage Warriors 138 on Saturday night will take to the scale on Friday, with another former Cage Warriors middleweight champion, James Webb, topping the bill.
Both Cage Warriors 137 and 138 will stream live from Colchester's Charter Hall on UFC Fight Pass.
