'The Bonecrusher' returns: Marc Diakiese inks new UFC deal and joins UFC London card
Congolese-born Briton has a new UFC contract and a fight assignment at UFC London.
English lightweight Marc Diakiese has a new contract with the UFC, and he's planning on kicking off his latest chapter with the MMA leader with a big win on home soil.
Diakiese's management told me today that "The Bonecrusher" had inked a four-fight deal with the UFC, and that his next bout will see him return to the UK to face Damir Hadzovic at UFC Fight Night in London on July 23.
"Lots of people make it in the UFC, but the real skill is staying in the UFC," said Diakiese, whose record in the UFC is 6-5 (15-5 overall).
"I’ve signed another four-fight deal with the UFC. This is the fourth contract with the promotion.
"I would like to personally thank Dana White and Sean Shelby for their continued support.
"My next fight is back in the UK so I’m pleased to be able to put on a performance for the UK fans."
